Illustrations for HandPicked Iceland
Elísabet Brynhildardóttir has been part of the HandPicked story from the very beginning. After graduating with a BA in Illustration from University College for the Creative Arts in 2007, she created her first drawing for HandPicked in 2010, a map of Iceland highlighting favorite food stops around the country.
That map became the seed of our beloved HandPicked maps, which now exist in five editions, and marked the start of a long and fruitful collaboration.
Since then, Elísabet’s playful and heartfelt illustrations have brought warmth and character to the HandPicked world which many travellers collect as a keepsake.
Today Elísabet is well known for her conceptual art.
