This small specialty coffee bar in downtown Reykjavík was the only Icelandic café on Europe’s 100 Best Coffee Shops 2026. Kaffibrugghúsið roasts the beans while the owners Jess, a coffee obsessive, makes every extraction to perfection and Árni, a chef with sustainability in his blood, bakes the cakes on-site. Coffee comes first, but the blueberry, almond and lemon cake is a close second.
