Eiderdown Comforters – Tour

From a wild duck’s nest to luxury eiderdown comforters. Over roughly three hours, the farmers themselves walk you through every stage: the nesting grounds where the ducks are watched over and protected, how the eiderdown is gathered once the ducklings leave the nest, to the cleaning process. A craft Icelanders have practiced for centuries. If you get charmed you can take one home.
